+1.
It's a real pity CCP isn't affiliated with Apple, or their manufacturer Foxconn from China.
If they released such a fail patch, they'd all be on the roof flinging themselves off in Shame |

That's funny. CCP as a whole seems to be pretty destructive right now to me. It's a real pity CCP isn't affiliated with Apple, or their manufacturer Foxconn from China.

EVE Online: TOTAL HELL DEATH!
It gets my vote.
+1. this, along with alot of other stuff mentioned here, would definatly get my attention. as long as its not half-assed that is. (past 2 years of expansions, i'm looking at YOU.)
heres something for your lore guys to work with.
The Amarr, after rebuilding strength following the Jovian defeat/Minmatar rebellion, decide enough is enough and decide to bring the Minmatar "back into the fold" After the initial assault, The Gallente, no longer willing to be just "Shady supporters" Join the conflict on behalf of the Minmatar. This Obviously Brings the Caldari to the aid of the Amarr, Missile bays blazing. All sides release new ships that have been in development since the T3 Cruiser breakthroughs. (T3 frigs? T3 BCs? ect ect)
then again, it kinda sounds like FW, and we all know where that ended up. It's a real pity CCP isn't affiliated with Apple, or their manufacturer Foxconn from China.

Firstly, as soon as you zoom out, I reckon the main screen would resume its regular programme after a few seconds.
Secondly, the CQ environment would *only* be loaded when you actually press the to-be-added 'Load CQ' button in your hangar.
Important Parts Bolded. It's a real pity CCP isn't affiliated with Apple, or their manufacturer Foxconn from China.

Originally by: oniplE We all know CCP and how they communicate, we don't need the answers, we already know what they're going to say. The following devblogs are upcoming:
1) Aurum prices are not final and will be lowered if necessary.
2) The internal memo is not to be taken seriously: its purpose is to incite discussion among employees and none of the disturbing plans inside are actually plans. No solid promises will be made, there will not be a "We will never sell non-vanity items for Dollars" statement. A typical CCP devblog that evades the issue at hand, but does calm most of the people down. Crisis averted.
Then there will be a series of non-issue blogs that smother the discussion about the first two dev blogs: 3) Incarna performance will be looked into. 4) Some devblog on the coming iterations on CQ features 5) "We do have plan for Spaceships-Online": some token plans for features are shown.
At the very best, and to be honost I think the chances are slim, Captain's Quarters will be made optional and the original Hangar view will be restored. This is the only real change you can hope for.
Sadly, this is probably the truth. For me however, it won't be good enough. Like i stated back on page 1, i don't trust ANYONE with the CCP tag as far as i can throw them. so keep your words, they mean nothing to me other than an explanation. For resolving the problem, speak through your actions.
CCP, we understand you are a business, we understand your probably stretched a little thin at the moment. That being said, don't insult us by continuing the exact actions that brought you to this point. if your pulling DC like this, im willing to bet you've noticed alot more sub cancellations than you expected. don't make it worse. My account is cancelled. Are you guys just full of hot air or is yours cancelled too?

Absolute derpery. Hardly a threat, simply an expression of disgust and anger. CCP Manifest also posted previously that those who had sent Soundwave death threats were being ignored due to everyone understanding player anger, yet, when the most vocal opponent against your crappy plans doesn't even make a threat they are permanently banned for an entirely ******ed reason.

Show me the expansion in one of those "free" games where they've.... added 50% to the playable area (wormhole space) completely re-written the graphics code (remember the shader 2 problems) added random super-boss fights that required people from all over to get together to win (incursions. wow used to have them, the giant wandering boss guys, i think they got rid of them though? i stopped playing a couple years ago) Hmmm... added a _____% more playing area, I can't even calculate it for everyone (planetary interaction)
that was in the past. so for this expansion --- laid the groundwork to have a completely original tie in from a PC MMO to a Console FPSMMO let's see... CQ could be described in wow terms as... nope, can't think of a comparison for going from only ever seeing your ship to seeing a fully animated 3d avatar. yes, it is only in a room, but in 6 months it will be an entire station. and not just 1 station, but all stations. 5000+ systems... _ stations per system, etc etc... It's not all going to happen at once, be patient.
Ummm, hopefully this proves my point. It's been made for the past 7 years. Usually on patch day when people ***** and moan about long down time, demand reimbursement, etc etc... Those people who make the point that the expansions are free do it much better than I, but that's all I can come up with off the top of my head. I don't usually post on the forums because there are way too many people who jump to conclusions, just want to troll, or generally have very little clue what they're talking about. It gets exhausting. No wonder the CCP employees don't do it much anymore either. All they get is hate every time they post.
That's not too hard on most of those points anyway.. Asheron's Call. (its ancient now, but hey, it's still open!) A reputation for a thousand years may depend upon the conduct of a single moment. -Ernest Bramah

Originally by: Kellath Eladrel Has anyone over there ever taken a management course? In recent years CCP has drifted farther and farther from its core strategic positioning (a provider of the best internet spaceships). It seems they are so fragmented now into multiple games and random teams that provide unwanted features, it is impossible to maintain the quality of EVE, which had plenty of room for improvement to begin with.
You cannot have your cake and eat it too. Make a trade off or the players will make it for you.

Originally by: DiaLogical If this email is real..
It was already obvious from the internal newsletter that their focus was more than ever directed towards creative (future) use of MTs. But this email completely disregards the worries many people voiced.
How can they be so blind as to not see that this is not a "resist change" reaction, but something more fundamental. It's about resetting the boundaries in the (future and current) Eve gameplay when it comes to gain-for-pay.
I thought this outspoken community response would at least get through that we're not going in the right direction here. Not only were all issues untill now blatantly ignored, the fact he states that it's not about "what we say but do" is almost like a provocation. CCP Hilmar, do you really want a critical mass of players to quit before you reconsider this self-destructive path Eve is on?
Most players don't just rebel to act out, this reaction is fueled by a seemingly total lack of respect and complete ignorance as to the issues we ask/want/need you to address!
Its real. Confirmed by CCP Navigator on the boards (through the responses on thread deletes) and i think it was CCP manifest who confirmed it VIA twitter. A reputation for a thousand years may depend upon the conduct of a single moment. -Ernest Bramah

2 PENDING ANSWER
i dont get what the problem with vanity items as long as they are cosmitics and not gameplay relating ? if some dumass wants to spend 100$ on a pair of jeans its his problem , im i missing something out ? there are more things to worry about in incarna than vanity items , lag , bugs , cq performance , no spining ( or at least an option to return to old hangar ) , items after been unfitted are stuck and unusable and lots more ..
let me re-write the question for ya.
Are you moving PAST Vanity items for Aurum: Yes or No??

this is obvious because of the email. i have noticed on http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility that the peak logged in users has dropped by around 1k per day since incarna went live. take that for what its worth.
